Meetup Sophia Agile Lunch: World’s companies best Agile implementations, feedbacks from Sergey Kotlov 2nd July 2015 @ Telecom Valley

Sergey Kotlov, Agile Expert,  is making a world tour to learn what fantastic, transparent and innovative companies are doing from Russia, Finland, Sweden, Northern Germany (Berlin and Hamburg), the Netherlands, Barcelona / greater Catalunya / Catalonia, and perhaps France. And later North America.

Let’s have an open discussion altogether with Sergey to learn from his great World Tour of Agile Companies.

We will introduce Sergey Kotlov and then ask him what valuable things he can share with us from what he saw in the Agile companies he visited. We will then debate on feasibility and what it means for French companies. One example is the article about the company promoting only 32h work per week. Another subject I am really interested in: the bonus policy in companies.
Jurgen Appelo and Dan Pink say scientic studies proved that bonuses are bad for companies.
But people still feel the more they would be paid, the more they would feel engaged for deadlines and quality.

Some of the selected topics:

– Working Hours Policy: some companies talk, encourage and value talk « working Hard » while for more innovative companies Friday is so casual that it is not a working day (more on Linkedin,  and   full article on Washington Post)

– About Salary policies – Individual Bonuses: are they good or not for companies’ efficiency?

Dan Pink explains why bonuses based on individual performance are destroying productivity, but this is at the opposite of what people would intuitively think and what companies are promoting.

What are the facts?

Let’s meet on July, 2nd, @ Telecom Valley, Lunch time from 12PM to 2 PM

Meetup will soon be updated to take your registrations.
